What Jameel Noori Nastaleeq is
Jameel Noori Nastaleeq is the most widely used Unicode Nastaliq font in Pakistan. It is based on the Noori Nastaliq calligraphy that made InPage the standard for Urdu composing. Because it works with ordinary Unicode text, writing set in it can be copied, searched and edited like any other text. That is why newspapers, schools, courts and printing presses use it for applications, notices, books and posters.
