The service

Urdulik is a free tool for writing and designing in Urdu. You may use it for personal, educational and commercial work, without payment and without an account.

Your content

Everything you write and design is yours. Urdulik claims no rights over it and does not receive it. You are responsible for what you make and for having the right to use any pictures, logos and text you add.

Fonts and elements

The fonts and design elements supplied with Urdulik may be used in what you make with it. Fonts remain under their own licences — the SIL Open Font License for most, free distribution by its makers for Jameel Noori Nastaleeq, and Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 for Mehr Nastaliq Web (by Mehr Type with CSaLT, Information Technology University of the Punjab).

Acceptable use

Do not use Urdulik to make material that is unlawful, that forges official documents, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not try to disrupt the site.

No warranty

Urdulik is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Documents are stored in your own browser and can be lost if its data is cleared, so keep backups of important work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the service.

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest version.
