How to write Urdu on a PDF

1. Open the editor and go to the File tab.
2. Press Write on PDF / picture and choose your PDF or a photo of the paper. For a PDF with several pages, pick the page number.
3. Add a text box, drag it to the right place and type in Urdu or English.
4. Use a white patch to cover old text that must be replaced.
5. Press Print / PDF to print on paper or save a new PDF.

Writing an affidavit on e-stamp paper

An e-stamp paper comes with its printed part at the top and blank space below. Open its PDF or a scan as the page behind, pick a ready affidavit (Bayan-e-Halfi) sample or type your own text, and move the starting line down until the writing begins under the printed part. The same works for a rent agreement, an agreement to sell and other papers written before a registry.

When the paper itself goes into the printer — real stamp paper or a printed letterhead — set how far below the top of the page the text should start, check the position against the scan, then remove the background page and print only your text. It lands where the scan showed it.
