How to type Turkish letters
- Type normally in the box above.

- Press Shift for capitals. Turkish has two i’s: dotted i → İ, dotless ı → I. The keys follow that rule.
- ₺ is the Turkish lira sign.
Why ı and i matter
In Turkish, ı and i are different letters, and so are their capitals I and İ. Writing them wrong changes words: sınır is a border, sinir a nerve. Most English keyboards can’t type ı or İ at all.
