How to type French accents
- Type normally in the box above.
- Tap the accented letter you need: é (accent aigu), è à ù (accent grave), ê â î ô û (circonflexe), ë ï ü (tréma), ç (cédille).
- Press Shift first for capitals: É, À, Ç. French capitals keep their accents.
- « and » are the French quotation marks; œ is the ligature of cœur and sœur.
