How to type Hindi here
- Tap a consonant, then the matra that follows it: क + ि gives कि, क + ा gives का, क + ो gives को.
- For a vowel at the start of a word, tap the full vowel: अ, आ, इ, ए.
- For a joined letter, tap the halant (्) between two consonants: स + ् + त gives स्त. क्ष, त्र and ज्ञ have their own keys.
- ं gives the anusvara (हिंदी), ँ the chandrabindu (माँ), and । the full stop (purna viram).
If your computer or phone already has a Hindi keyboard (Inscript, phonetic, or Gboard’s Hindi), type with it in the same box.
After typing
Press Copy text to paste into WhatsApp, Facebook, email or Word. It is Unicode Hindi and shows correctly on every phone. For an application, letter or notice, press Open in editor: the editor opens with Hindi menus and fonts such as Noto Sans Devanagari, Hind, Mukta and Tiro Devanagari Hindi, and downloads Word, PDF or a picture.
